Terms of Use

Last updated 28 October 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and DataKlin, a brand of Bharath Reddy Kontham (“we”, “us”, “our”). They are the end user licence agreement for the DataKlin desktop app, and they also cover this website, dataklin.com. If you use DataKlin for an organisation, you accept these terms for it too.

By installing or using DataKlin, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use it.

We give you a personal or business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use DataKlin on devices you own or control, subject to these terms.

DataKlin is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights we don’t expressly give you here, and you don’t get ownership of DataKlin or any copy of it.

DataKlin is currently provided at no charge. We may change that for future versions.

You may not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify DataKlin;
  • remove or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notice in it;
  • redistribute, sell, resell, rent or sublicense DataKlin, or offer it to others as a hosted service.

Each of these applies except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite this limitation, for example where the law lets you decompile software to make it work with other programs (interoperability).

We recommend you download DataKlin only from dataklin.com or the download links it gives, so you know you have an unmodified copy.

DataKlin runs on your computer and connects only to the databases and services you configure. You are responsible for having the right to access them, and for keeping backups of your data. Queries and commands you run in DataKlin can change or delete data, so check them before you run them.

The Privacy Policy explains what DataKlin and this website do with your data.

DataKlin includes third-party software components. They are licensed to you under their own licence terms, and those terms govern those components. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under them.

DataKlin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that DataKlin is free of errors or will work without interruption.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, that arise from your use of DataKlin or this website, or from being unable to use them.

Some laws don’t allow these limits, or the warranty disclaimer above. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms, and you must then stop using DataKlin. You can stop using DataKlin and uninstall it at any time.

The sections on warranty, limitation of liability and governing law, and any other part of these terms that by its nature should, continue to apply after the licence ends.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using DataKlin after a change, including when you install or use a new version, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute about them, DataKlin or this website goes to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates. This doesn’t affect any mandatory consumer protection the law of your own country gives you.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

The content of dataklin.com is provided for information only, “as is”, and may change at any time. The disclaimers and limits above apply to the website too. Links to other sites are not endorsements, and we aren’t responsible for those sites.
